Exploring English Movies Pronunciation Common Errors & Vocabulary Building
Focuses on listening, speaking, presentation, writing and vocabulary skills. Students watch and discuss popular English movies.

Practical Writing Skills Intensive IELTS IELTS
Focuses on improving everyday writing and editing skills by focusing on a wide variety of interesting topics, texts, grammar and vocabulary.

Skills for the TOEFL Test Current Events Reading Skills
Skills for the TOEFL Test familiarizes students with the sections of the TOEFL test, the academic skills and test strategies necessary for achieving a high score on the TOEFL test. Version 2: 18 August 2008

Discussion Skills Power Listening Skills TOEIC Speaking & Writing
Students improve fluency and vocabulary by practicing speaking about a variety of interesting topics and using useful English phrases for conversation.

Reading Mastery TOEIC  
This course helps students develop their reading, vocabulary and critical thinking skills. It introduces a variety of reading strategies that help students interpret, organize and think about what they read. The elective presents a wide variety of real-world topics presented in the form of articles, plays, stories and letters.

Basic Survival English Functional English Cafe Work Skills
This elective offers introductory-level students English practice in everyday situations they are likely to find themselves. NOTE: Materials download 13MB Version 4: January 2009

Business English for the BEC Presentation Skills Volunteer Work Placement
Focus is on on business vocabulary, strengthening reading, listening, writing and speaking skills and communicative competence in business situations. Students can also prepare for the Cambridge BEC tests.
