Welcome Parties:
New students enjoy a welcome barbecue where they can meet new friends and relax in Pacific Gateway’s private outdoor courtyard.

Student Conversation Partners:
New students meet with ‘veteran’ Pacific Gateway students and receive friendly help and advice about living and studying in Australia.
Students who volunteer as Student Conversation partners get to meet new friends while increasing their fluency and conversation skills.

A culturally sensitive professional counselling and referral service is also available to students who may be experiencing difficulties.  Our professional staff helps students with common problems including homesickness, study difficulties, relationships and more.

Other Free Pacific Gateway Extras:

Student-Teacher Conferencing
Students can meet with their teachers one-on-one for confidential academic advice.  These meetings are scheduled each session to discuss students’ progress and learning goals both in and outside of Pacific Gateway.

The Official TOEIC
Pacific Gateway students take the TOEIC test every session.  There is no extra cost, and students get an official score for every test.

The Communication Assessment
On the fourth Thursday of every four-week session, students’ speaking skills and progress are assessed.
