Spin a WebQuest

1. Go to the Filamentality homepage @ www.kn.pacbell.com/wired/fil.

2. Click “Start a New Topic”. Working with an assigned theme from your morning curriculum, enter:

· Topic

· Name

· Password

3. Select “Spin this Thing!” You’ll see this page:

4. On the navigation menu at the bottom select “Add Links”. Cut and paste the links you want to use in your Webquest. Continue choosing “Add Links” until added all the links you need for your webquest.

5. On the navigation menu at the bottom select “WebQuest”. The next page will list all of your specified links!

6. Create category names for the roles you’d like students to take.

7. Categories your link according to your categories.

8. Add links to world experts if you’d like.

9. On the navigation menu, select “2. Customize”.

10. Add your title and introduction.

11. Add your Tasks and General Instructions.

12. Add your Detailed Instructions.

13. When you’ve filled in all the info for your WebQuest, select “Post” from the navigation menu.

14. Email Jennifer your WebQuest’s URL and I’ll include it on our Study Online site!
